Distance Education
For those unable to attend lectures on campus, whether because of distance, shift work or family or church responsibilities Morling College offers the opportunity to study for accredited qualifications from your own home. Both full-time and part-time students can be accommodated. See Enrolment Forms for information about subjects that are currently available, as well as for guidance on the enrolment process.
There are several awards available through distance education:
Certificate in Theology (previously Associate in Theology)
Understand the Christian faith and its relevance for today. Six subjects must be completed including Old Testament, New Testament and Christian Belief.
Diploma of Theology and Diploma of Ministry
This course provides a foundation of understanding and skills relevant for Christian service.
Advanced Diploma of Ministry
A further year of study to deepen the understanding and training gained through the Diploma of Theology or Ministry.
Bachelor of Ministry
Intended to prepare men and women for Christian ministry in Australia and other cultures. A wide range of practical and pastoral subjects to allow specification in an area of ministry.
Graduate Diploma of Divinity (formerly Grad Dip Bible and Ministry)
Intended for graduates in disciplines other than theology who wish to undertake Biblical theological and pastoral ministry studies.
The Bible Correspondence Course is a free course designed for those who want to know what the Bible has to say and would like some help to keep them reading and thinking. Study is at your own pace.
