Certificate in Theology (Cantonese)

The emphasis is on gaining a practical understanding the Christian faith and its relevance for life today. Lectures are given in Cantonese, and all course material is presented in Chinese. Student course work is also completed in Chinese.

Six subjects must be completed, including:

• Old Testament
• New Testament
• Christian Belief

Three further elective subjects are chosen from:
•           Ethics and the Christian Faith
•           Evangelism
•           Introduction to Pastoral Care
•           Introduction to Christian Spirituality
•           Cults and Sects
•           Christian Leadership
•           Church History
•           Hermeneutics

The ThC is taught at night. One subject is taught each semester so it may be completed in three years. It is also available in Cantonese (evenings only). Contact the College for full details.
