Bachelor of Ministry
Formerly Bachelor of Ministries

The BMin provides a program of tertiary study that is intended to prepare men and women for Christian ministry in the Australian and other cultures. The degree is based on a solid Biblical and theological foundation. A wide range of practical and pastoral subjects is available which allows specialisation in a specific area of ministry.

An important aspect of the BMin is Supervised Experience Based Learning (SEBL) in which students are assisted by faculty and other supervisors to reflect on all aspects of their life, studies and ministry.

The entrance requirement is qualification for admission to an Australian university. Mature age entry is possible for students who are 21 years of age or more.

The BMin may be completed by full time or part time study (including evening classes) and is available by distance education through CD’s. The minimum period of study is three years and the maximum is nine years.

The regulations require candidates to complete 24 semester length subjects (including SEBL)
