Alyson Passauer
Alyson has served on faculty at Riverview Leadership College in Perth, teaching leadership and youth ministry. She is considered one of WA’s leading youth communicators. Alyson served for 6 years as Director of Youth & Young Adult Ministry at Riverview Church, overseeing the pastoral curriculum, youth congregations, staffing, response management, case referral processes and chaplaincy for the 12-25 age demographic (at least 2,000 youth and young adults attend that church, so her role was a very significant one - Riverview is a church of 4,500 people).
Alyson established Riverview’s South Campus (as Lead Pastor), and was Lead Pastor of Riverview’s Orange County (California) Campus. She is a Member of Riverview Church Leadership Team and Teaching Team, speaking regularly at weekend services.
She has published a number of books on youth ministry, and speaks around the country at churches, bible colleges, leadership conferences, camps, retreats, workshops, high schools, primary schools, women’s events, and youth events in Australia and the USA.
She is completing a Masters of Divinity at Vose Seminary in Perth (the Baptist theological college of WA).
Steve Dixon
Steve is the recently appointed Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry for the Baptist Churches of NSW and the ACT. His role is to support and develop the youth and youth adult ministry for more than 300 churches.
Steve served for 9 years as Coordinator of Youth & Young Adult Ministry at Gymea Baptist Church, overseeing the friday night youth program, life groups, interns, volunteer leadership teams, evening congregation, camps and schools ministry for the 12-30 age demographic. He also spoke regularly at weekend services, schools, and combined events. Steve and his family are now part of a church plant in Dee Why.
Steve completed a Master of Divinity through Sydney Missionary and Bible College (SMBC) and is currently completing a Master of Arts (Ministry) at Morling.
Graham Hill
Graham Hill joined the Morling faculty in 2007 as Lecturer in Pastoral and Practical Studies, the Director of the Centre for Leadership, and the Coordinator of Postgraduate Coursework degrees. Before coming to Morling, Graham lectured in Culture, Mission and Leadership at Burleigh College in South Australia, and has also served as the Director of Baptist Youth Ministries in Western Australia. Graham has significant experience in local church leadership, including church planting, youth ministry, associate pastor of a large growing congregation, and coaching pastors and planters of missional experiments.
Graham’s passion for teaching about Christian ministry, missiology, and spiritual formation has opened up doors for teaching throughout Asia, including India, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand. Graham has a PhD from Flinders University in South Australia, which examines the implications of missional ecclesiology for local churches. His research interests include the theology and practice of Christian leadership, comparative and missional ecclesiology, leading churches through change and transformation, and fresh ways of doing, being, and becoming church.
Graham’s role involves teaching courses such as Ministry Formation, Christian Leadership and Management, Church Dynamics and Health, Leading Churches through Change and Transformation, Missional Ecclesiology, and Practical Ministry and Theology. He also coordinates Morling’s Postgraduate Coursework programs and Morling’s Centre for Leadership. He is also an accredited coach, and spends a lot of time coaching pastors and leadership teams.
Graham is married to Felicity, and they have three daughters, Madison, Grace and Dakotah.
