Leadership Conferences
The Centre for Leadership runs a conference every two years.
Past Leadership Conferences have included inspirational and informative input by such persons as:
Paul Borden: Paul is the Executive Minister of the American Baptist Churches of the West, where he has overseen an incredible turnaround in the development and growth of many Gospel-focused, biblically-faithful churches.
Brian Winslade: Brian has been the Senior Pastor of Windsor Park Baptist Church while concurrently the National Leader (CEO) of the Baptist denomination within New Zealand. He has been in pastoral ministry since 1979, including roles as Youth Pastor, Regional Youth Director, Missionary service in Bangladesh, and Senior Pastor of three multiple staff churches. The
Baptist denomination in New Zealand has embarked upon a deliberate strategy of turning plateaud and declining churches into Growing Healthy Churches for which Brian has had a primary leadership role.
Erwin Raphael McManus: Erwin is lead pastor and cultural architect of Mosaic, a uniquely creative and international congregation in Los Angeles. Mosaic is best known for its extraordinary ethnic diversity, its radical innovation and its conviction that creativity is the natural result of spirituality. McManus also serves as distinguished professor and futurist
at Bethel Seminary and is a contributing editor for Leadership Journal. He is the author of An Unstoppable Force, a Gold Medallion Award finalist, and Seizing Your Divine Moment, Uprising: A Revolution of the Soul, and The Barbarian Way, which will be released in the beginning of 2005.
Leith Anderson: Leith has been senior pastor of Wooddale Church in Eden Prairie, Minnesota since 1977. This is a large church that not only ministers to thousands in metropolitan Minneapolis, but also serves as a teaching and laboratory church to others across the nation. Leith has a daily radio program and has written nine books.
Stuart Robinson: Stuart spent fourteen years in South Asia pioneering contextualized cross-cultural ministries. Since 1983 he has been the Senior Pastor at Crossway Baptist Church in Melbourne, during which time it has relocated and grown significantly. He has written a number of books and published many articles.
Reggie McNeal: Reggie is the Director of Leadership Development at the South Carolina Baptist Convention. His past experience involves twenty years in local church leadership, ten years in various staff roles, and ten years as a founding pastor of a new church. Reggie has lectured at a number of seminaries in the US including Fuller
Seminary. He has written four bestselling leadership books.
Dale Stephenson: Dale has been Senior Pastor of New Peninsula (previously Mornington Baptist Church) outside Melbourne since 1996. Through this period the Church has relocated and experienced significant growth, currently drawing 700-900 worshippers each weekend. Dale is an innovative and positive leader who has led New Peninsula to develop a reputation for creative
engagement with the local community. By God’s grace the church has seen significant conversion growth and evangelistic impact. Dale is in increasing demand as a conference speaker and is currently a director of Capernwray Torchbearers, Australia.
Karl Faase: Karl is the Senior Pastor of Gymea Baptist Church in Sydney’s southern suburbs. He is Program Director for the Arrow Leadership Programme, Director of the Jesus All About Life Media Project, as well as host of the national ‘Face to Face’ television show. |
