Miss Gayle Kent
BADipEd, MACS, GradCert Christian Counselling
Gayle Kent joined Morling's part-time faculty in mid-2006 as the Student Academic Advisor and distance lecturer. In 2008 Gayle has also been appointed as the Dean of Students. As the Dean of Students Gayle will oversee the community aspects of campus life and encourage the spiritual and personal development of students.
Before completing her MA in Christian Studies and a Graduate Certificate in Christian Counselling at Morling, Gayle was a secondary English, History and Studies of Religion teacher. As a teacher she became passionate about the pastoral care of students, and considers it a privilege to be able to walk alongside Morling students as they delve deeper into God’s Word and grow
in their faith.
Gayle is also the Assistant Pastor at Macquarie Chapel Presbyterian Church, where she coordinates their pastoral care and small group ministries. |
