Miss Gayle Kent
BADipEd, MACS, GradDip Counselling
Gayle Kent joined Morling's part-time faculty in 2006 and has been our Dean of Students since 2008. As the Dean of Students, Gayle oversees the community aspects of campus life and encourages the spiritual and personal development of students. Gayle coordinates our GSF (Guided Spiritual Formation) program and lectures in Pastoral and Practical Studies and in the Plunge program. She also works alongside students as an Academic Advisor; to better equip them for the tasks of Theological education.
Before completing her MA in Christian Studies and a Graduate Diploma in Counselling at Morling, Gayle was a secondary English, History and Studies of Religion teacher. As a teacher she became passionate about the pastoral care of students, and considers it a privilege to be able to walk alongside Morling students as they delve deeper into God’s Word and grow in their faith.
Gayle is also the Assistant Pastor at Macquarie Chapel Presbyterian Church, where she coordinates their pastoral care ministries.
